Dear Colleagues,

 

In case you have not seen this posting elsewhere, I want to send a reminder that the deadline is approaching for the 2021-22 Japan Digital Fellowship at Harvard University.  This is a new appointment through the Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies and does not require completion of a doctoral degree or U.S. citizenship.  All candidates with background in digital scholarship (and Japan!) are welcome.  Full details regarding the position and application process can be found through the link below:

 

 

REISCHAUER INSTITUTE JAPAN DIGITAL FELLOWSHIP

The Edwin O. Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies (RIJS) at Harvard University invites applications for a Japan Digital Fellow to lead and facilitate digital scholarship initiatives. All applicants must have at minimum a Master’s degree in Japanese Studies or related field(s) or Bachelor’s degree with significant work experience. A Doctoral degree is not required for this position.

Deadline: February 15, 2021 (Monday), 5pm EST

Appointment Term: 2 years, commencing August 1, 2021.

Grant Amount: $65,000 stipend (per year); project development support up to $5,000; health insurance coverage for grantee
