I'm looking for research assistants for an ongoing project in early modern spatial history. The primary task is using resources such as 角川日本地名大辞典 and 日本歴史地名体系 to find hamlets that disappeared in the Meiji government's massive administrative consolidation. You'll want access via JapanKnowledge to the digital versions of 角川日本地名大辞典 and 日本歴史地名体系. No citizenship or visa requirements and you can work from anywhere. Pay is up to $30 per hour.
