Dear NC Digital Humanists,

With apologies for cross-posting!

The annual Digital Humanities conference, hosted in Tokyo and held virtually, just wrapped up, and I’m writing to share some news from ADHO, the organization that supports the conference:

First, ADHO has a new website and has launched a podcast and newsletter. Learn more and sign up for the newsletter: https://adho.org/2022/07/28/new-website/

Second, if you’re interested in getting involved with DH on a global level, or know someone who is, there are some great service opportunities with ADHO: https://adho.org/2022/07/25/join-adho-eb-committees/. Nominate yourself or someone else by August 8! If you’re interested and want to know what it’s like to work with ADHO, reply to me or reach out to my colleagues at ad...@adho.org.

Finally, if you’re interested in attending a future DH conference, DH2023 is being held in Graz (look for a CFP in late August), and for those of us looking to stay closer to home, we just announced that DH2024 will be hosted by the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media at George Mason University in Washington, DC. Mark your calendars!

All best,

Hannah
