Namaste to All
Wishing everyone an absolutely glorious gurupurnima. May the blessings of Lord Dakshinamurti, the adiguru, and the grace of Pujya Swamiji ever abide in your hearts and guide you all on the path of dharma, knowledge, and liberation from samsara.
We have a special program for Gurupurnima. Praveen and Surekha started this tradition of “inviting” me to their home on gurupurnima day. This time, you will have the special joy of directly inviting Pujya Swamiji into your homes as I will be present in the samadhi mandir of Pujya Swamiji, with students adorning the altar with tea lights.
This will be followed by a short address about the significance of gurupurnima. After this, students will offer their shraddha in the form of songs and bhajans. The whole thing will take about an hour. Being a working day, I understand that many of you may have places to get to and might not be able to stay the entire time. That is why we have the youtube channel. You can always return and view the full program.
Best wishes and love

Dear All,
Thursday, July 10th is Guru Purnima.
Swamini Ji would give us a Guru Purnima message at 8 PM IST/10:30AM EST on Thur, 10th July
When Swamini Ji joins the zoom, Janani Ji, on behalf of all students worldwide, will hold the Purna Khumbam and Chant Sanyasa Suktam.
Each of us are encouraged to hold a Purna Khumbam, mute the zoom, and chant Sanyasa Suktam along with Janani Ji (if we know it, else follow Janani Ji's chanting with closed eyes and full attention). This is to symbolically Inviting Swamini Ji through her Pujya Swamiji and his teachings into our homes and into our lives on this Guru Day and bless us to remove all obstacles in our learning.
Upon completion of the chant, please keep the Purna Khumbam at your altar. Offer a Namaskaram to Gods & Gurus and join back to listen to SwaminiJi. Later, you may use the coconut and rice for cooking.
PURNA KHUMBAM:
In case the word confused anyone, the snapshot attached is to explain Poornakumbham. It's OK if you don't have Mango leaves. You may just place coconut on the pot filled with water. Pot can be made of any metal, bronze, silver, steel erc., Place some rice (quarter inch thick) in a plate and then place the pot in the center. This would give some stability to it. And keep couple of flowers. Hold the plate in both hands until Sanyasa Suktam is chanted, then offer it Swamini ji, to bless it. Do a Namaskaram, and then place the Poornakumbham at your alter and then later use the rice to cook and enjoy. Feel blessed!!
You may want to wash the coconut, put some turmeric and Kumkum (if you have), and while placing, ensure the 3 eyes side is on the top pointing the sky.
SANYASA SUKTAM
Please refer to the above link for lyrics in Devnagiri and English (and also chanting in Svaras).
