Following the brutality of Pakistan's terrorist attacks, India has responded, avenging and honoring the lost lives with 'Operation Sindoor', with strategic strikes on terrorist camps on Pakistani soil.
This was expected. This was needed. Decades of exported terror from our neighbors are being met with a fitting response by our brave military personnel. The escalation could have ended with the attack on terrorist base camps, but Pakistan unwisely chose to retaliate. Bad move. It will cost them dearly. They're outclassed, outgunned and outnumbered.
125 Indian jets are engaged in the mission. Whether this will be a short lived event or a prolonged war is hard to say. What we can say is the dice have been rolled and there's no backing out now.
There have been many calls (from within India) for peace, to have a ceasefire, resolve matters diplomatically. All of this ignores either conveniently or ignorantly, that India has tried precisely this for 78 years. And Pakistan continues building and exporting terror without impunity. That changes now.
Now is not the time for peace. That time is past. Does one halt Devi when she's slaying Mahishasura? Do we ask Arjuna to retreat at Kurukshetra, and recall his volley of arrows that blot the sun? We do not. We cheer them on. We add loudness to the din and roar of the battle cry.
Calls for a ceasefire are in poor taste. "Dharma ki jaya ho" is followed by "Adharma ka nash ho", is it not? So back off. We're going to finish what we started.
Our country, the land of the Rishis, of Kurukshetra, Ayodhya, Mithila, Dwaraka. Of kings and sages, of Avataras galore. This land needs our support. And we stand behind our military with honor, loyalty, and pledge our moral support to this cause. Bharata mata ki jaya!
