Someone asked the question "where are all the Gurus? We don't have enough Gurus so how will we find them?"

My response: we have more than sufficient Acharyas who may potentially qualify to be someone's Guru. What we don't have are aspirants who qualify as 'shishyas'. When that qualification is gained the Guru is discovered shortly after.

There's a simple example to illustrate. Arjuna knew Shri Krishna his whole life. To him he was "cousin Krishna", "buddy Krishna", even "my personal charioteer Krishna"...

But only when he humbled himself on the battlefield and prostrated before Bhagavan saying "shishyas teham shadi mam tvam prapannam", did the same Krishna now become his 'Guru Krishna'. You find the shishya in you, the Guru will be discovered in a short while.

The mistake most people make is trying to "find" a Guru without discovering the shishya within. That's the opposite.
