A TIPS On Art collaboration with Foundation Communities
Have YOU stopped recently to see where you can make a difference? It can happen anywhere daily with simple acts of kindness. Sometimes we may never know the depth of impact these acts of kindness make! Though it always matters. We all are in different stages of being strong, being vulnerable, being aware and being available to share.
In our holiday season tradition, we humbly ask for your participation in joining us as we adopt another loving family that is working hard toward thriving again and being self-sufficient. The Dad in this year’s family calls this time a “stepping stone” for them. We never assume the needs or circumstances of our holiday adopted families. We take the time to get to know them and ask them directly what they need, what they want and what they dream for. This allows us to tailor very specific requests for immediate needs and bring them a good dose of holiday cheer with your support. It also lets us tap into your specific strengths because what is easy for you may be a mountain of challenge for someone else. The Warfard Family … Charlie, Alyssa, Charlie, Jonah & Anaya are a beautiful, tight-knit family. For Charlie & Alyssa, just being together and helping their children thrive through happiness is what life is all about. Foundation Communities has paired us with this unique family this year and we feel honored to get to now know each of the members of this family and their commitment to bettering their lives through hard work, faith and perseverance. It is our intent here to describe them as individuals and as a family so you, too, can know and help support their goals, ambitions and current needs & wishes in this Holiday Season. We would love to have your participation with us in this season of giving if you are moved to do so. This family is energetic, creative and highly motivated to get fully back on their feet and achieve their on-going goals one day at a time!
This family LOVES to watch movies together as often as they can with their two cats … and yes, they do have a DVD player! Since the kiddos are small, cuddling up on the sofa together allows everyone to snack and have a good time. They also love playing in the park together and see their lives as simple and full because they have each other. Charlie and Alyssa have a five-year goal of being back in their own home where all the kids have their own room and with a big yard where they can have a garden to teach the kiddos about food and have animals to teach them how to care and nurture them. This family also loves to travel to visit with extended family when possible and when they have a reliable vehicle.

Charlie is a dad who is happy when his children are happy! He is a Penske mechanic and is excited to be moving to day shift hours so the whole family is on the same schedule.
