The Journey into the Pristine Nature of Mind
February 17-22, 2025
According to the Buddhist teachings, underneath all our internal afflictions lies the pure state of our minds that is already liberated and enlightened. It has many names, such as buddha nature or original mind. When we are in touch with that state, our consciousness is no longer constricted by ego, or fear, or concepts. Instead, we can experience a deep peace of mind in harmony with life and the world. We can connect with a spirit of deep understanding of the nature of reality that is imbued with love and compassion. The process of uncovering such a state of mind can involve meditation, inquiry, self-reflection, and silence. During this silent residential retreat, Anam Thubten will offer teachings and meditation guidance based on the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, especially the Nyingma lineage.
