દિલ છે ખાના ખરાબ માંગે છે.
પાનખરમાં ગુલાબ માંગે છે.
હોઠ પર હોય છે રટણ તારું
આંખ તારાજ ખ્વાબ માંગે છે.
આમ ખામોશ ક્યાં સુધી રહેશો,
આખી દુનિયા જવાબ માંગે છે.
શેખ સાહિબને શું થયું આજે,
આચમનમાં શરાબ માંગે છે.
મીણ થઈ ઓગળે છે જંજીરો,
ને સમય ઇંન્કિલાબ માંગે છે.
યાતના જીવવાની કયાં કમ છે,
કે તું એનો હિસાબ માંગે છે.
