DHAMMA PRACTITIONER TRAINING CAMP
From vow to action, complete a dream
A new and special training course on Buddha Dhamma
A brilliant and profound journey of the mind

BACKGROUND
The Dhamma Practitioner Training Camp was mooted and inaugurated in 2003 by Ven. Chuan Wen of Hoeh Beng Zen Temple. The Venerable observed that a lot of Buddhists are more akin to Dhamma studies with inadequate attention being focused on actual practicing or implementation in everyday lives. Realizing this, the Venerable formulated the content and subsequently conducted this Dhamma Practioner Training Camp. In general, the Training Camp comprises Dhamma dynamics (games). Through them the participants will gain greater insight on the meaning and practice of sila, samadhi and prajna, and ultimately the Bodhisattva way.
The Training Camp comprises two inter-related levels. The first level is themed "The Influencing Power of Goodness and Nobility" while the second level is themed "The Organization 's Blissful Path of Practice". Since its inception, a total of 27 first level camps and 10 second level camps have been conducted throughout Malaysia.
Unique Features of the Training Camps
Participants shall undergo a series of Dhamma dynamics (games) throughout the duration ofthe Camp. These games are specially designed to enable the participants to realise the spirit and true meaning of Buddha Dhamma in completing their respective game objectives or missions.
1st Level Training Camp themed "The Influencing Power of Goodness and Nobility"
Objective:
To inculcate and enhance the right understanding and appreciation of all participants on Buddha Dhamma.
Contents:
Dhamma talks and games in the topics of sila, samadhi and prajna to enhance the participants understanding and appreciation of Buddha Dhamma and the Bodhisattva way.
The 2nd Level Training Camp themed "The Organisation's Blissful Path of Practice"
Objective:
To inculcate the spirit of peaceful and harmonious organization.
To facilitate meaningful communication within an organisation.
To enhance self realisation in servicing an organisation.
Content:
Dhamma talks and games on the importance and techniques of associating and helping all living beings to attain enlightenment in line with the concept that helping all living beings is the only path of Bodhisattva way.
