Dear friends,

Welcome to participate in this yearly communal almsgiving gathering in support of the bhikkhunis' community at Aloka Vihara, now in it's new location in Placerville, CA.

The Communal Almsgiving will be held in San Francisco in the week of the 2547th lunar anniversary of the foundation of our Bhikkhuni Sangha.

Dhammadharini Vihara and Aranya Bodhi bhikkhunis will also be present to share their lovingkindness, moral support and blessings in monastic sisterhood.

Almsgiving Ceremony for Aloka Vihara onSeptember 13, 2014

On Saturday, September 13, the lay community will gather to make formal offerings to Aloka Vihara in a traditional Almsgiving Ceremony. The ceremony will be held at the Mindfulness Care Center, 42 Gough St. San Francisco 94103.
