Dear Friends of our Bhikkhuni Sangha,
All of our monastics of Aranya Bodhi Forest Hermitage share our warmest congratulations with the former Maechee Fa Sureeporn, now Samaneri Tapassi, who entered into the saffron robes and undertook the Samaneri Pabbaja at Santi Forest Monastery in Australia's Southern Highlands on September 3rd.
In the photos you may also recognize venerable bhikkhuni Ven Phalanyani, who spent the past two vassas with us at Aranya Bodhi, as well as bhikkhuni Ayya Sudhamma, who has been a friend for such a long time. You might also notice Ajahn Brahm, who is the spiritual patron of Santi Forest Monastery and was visiting Santi to offer meditation instruction and guidance at that time.
Maechee Fa, now Samaneri Tapassi, came to Santi Forest Monastery from Thailand with Ven Phalanyani were they have spent extensive time in vipassana meditation retreat at Wat Ram Peong. Ajahn Suphan, guiding teaching of Wat Ram Peong and her preceptor, kindly blessed her to undertake the pabbaja at Santi.
Congratulations to Samaneri Tapassini and to all our bhikkhuni Dhamma sisters at Santi Forest Monastery in Australia! May the great caves and magnificent cliffs, rustic kutis and lovely hall serve your practice well. May your deepest hearts' aspiration be realized.
Anumodana Sadhu!
Aranya Bodhi Hermitage Sangha
