Dear Dhamma friends,
As you have been hearing, there are so many fires in Sonoma county the last few days and continuing. Our local firefighters near west Sonoma County and the coast are made up of many volunteer firemen. This year is particularly tough as outside help isn’t as available due to so many fires starting simultaneously.
With guidance from Ven. Ayya Tathālokā Bhikkhunī and the Dhammadharini monastic community, yesterday we dedicated our gratitude and appreciation to our local firefighters on behalf of Dhammadharini and all our local friends. Ven. Ayya Tathālokā Bhikkhunī asked us to share this kind, generous, and thoughtful effort with everyone for others' gladness
and happiness.
To recognize and honor the brave men and women of our local firefighters and volunteers, today Dhammadharini and all our local friends offered a truck full of generous donations of supplies and homemade hot-meal for fire departments in Graton, Monte Rio, Cazadero, Timber Cove and volunteer fire departments.Please see some pictures below.

I want to personally share my gratitude with everyone who supported this kind, generous, and thoughtful effort!
Special invitation to everyone:
Please contact me if you would like to schedule and dedicate a special day to offer meals or lodgings or needed requisites to our bhikkhunīs' community. 🙏
P.S. Noting, with the storm coming in again tonight, our very tired firefighters who have been fighting for four days straight are going to need to continue for a few more days.
We wish them all the best, well-nourished, well-loved, well-appreciated, and very well-blessed.
