Job Summary
We are seeking a QA Analyst with 5–7 years of experience in software quality assurance, specifically focused on Web-based application testing. This hybrid role in Mesa, AZ, requires a professional who can contribute to the quality of existing and future technology products within an Agile Scrum environment. The candidate must have strong experience writing and executing test cases/plans in ADO, and practical experience with automation using tools like Playwright and JMeter, and be proficient in various testing types, including performance and system integration testing.
Required Skills & Experience
- Overall QA: 5–7 years in software quality assurance, focused on Web-based application testing.
- Test Planning: 5+ years of experience writing test cases and test plans.
- Tools: 5+ years of experience using QA test plans ADO.
- Automation & Performance: Experience with automation tools like Playwright, JMeter, and conducting PERFORMANCE testing.
- Methodology: Experience with Iterative Development and Release Management in an Agile Scrum environment.
- System Knowledge: 3+ years of experience with Windows operating systems and applications.
- Testing Types: Ability to conduct functional, regression, system-level integration, end-to-end, and acceptance testing.
- In-depth understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience with version control and defect tracking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Requirement Analysis and design detailed test cases and procedures.
- Perform system integration, functional, volume, user interface, and performance testing using manual and automated techniques.
- Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts.
- Document test cases and defects as needed.
- Analyze defect metrics data to present findings to management.
