Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with 8+ years of experience for a full-time onsite role in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate is an expert in both front-end and back-end development, with mandatory skills in React, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Oracle, and Postgres. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable applications, mentoring a team of developers, and implementing a microservices architecture. This role requires hands-on experience with modern development practices and tools like GitLab, AWS, and Docker.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient full-stack applications using React JS and Node JS for the front end, and Java with Spring Boot for the backend.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Implement a microservices architecture and utilize Spring Batch for processing large volumes of data.
- Manage infrastructure on AWS, ECS, and Docker, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely solutions and improvements.
- Participate in all Scrum ceremonies to ensure agile project delivery.
