Oracle Cloud SCM Technical Lead

• Role: Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Consultant (Technical Lead)
• Location:   Teaneck, NJ 
• Client: Cognizant/ NJ Transit

 

Job Summary

We are seeking an Oracle Cloud SCM Technical Lead to oversee the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Cloud SCM solutions. This is a high-level leadership role where you will act as the primary architect for a large, multi-country technical implementation team. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between supply chain business requirements and technical execution, managing complex integrations, data conversions, and custom automations across the Oracle Fusion ecosystem.

 

Key Responsibilities

Technical Architecture & Lead Support

• Global Team Leadership: Act as the lead for a multi-country technical team, managing the scope, tasks, timelines, and budgets for enterprise-scale ERP projects.
• Technical Oversight: Lead the design and development of ERP integrations, customizations, RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Workflow), and extensions.
• Integration Strategy: Ensure seamless connectivity between SCM modules and other enterprise systems, including Oracle Cloud Financials and third-party applications.

SCM Module Implementation

• Functional Alignment: Lead the deployment of Oracle Cloud SCM, ensuring system configurations across Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing align with business objectives.
• Process Re-engineering: Analyze current supply chain workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements to optimize operations.
• Data Migration: Oversee complex data conversion strategies to migrate legacy information into the Oracle Fusion environment accurately.

Project Lifecycle Management

• End-to-End Management: Drive all project phases from initial feasibility studies and requirement gathering to final UAT and deployment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business partners to translate needs into technical specifications and system configurations.
• Mentorship: Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to junior consultants and cross-functional project teams.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

1. Oracle Cloud SCM: Extensive hands-on experience with Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing modules.
2. Implementation Mastery: Proven track record of managing technical ERP Cloud implementations end-to-end.
3. Advanced Tools: Proficiency in Oracle Cloud technologies, including integrations and reporting tools (BI Publisher, OTBI).
4. Team Leadership: Experience leading multiple technical teams in a global delivery model.

Education & Experience

• Years of Experience: 10+ years in Oracle ERP, with a significant focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Information Systems.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of supply chain processes in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or healthcare.
