Does anyone know the rep for Istat in the Dallas area? I am trying to get one for the Rock n Roll ½ marathon March 25 (although probably don’t really need it for a ½). And if anyone wants to help please let me know, there are a number of aid stations as well as the main medical facility at finish line in fair park.
In anticipation of the race, the City wide DFW sports medicine journal club March 20 will focus on marathon medicine/cardiac death ( as well as PT for post op rotator cuff surgery). Brennan can send you articles if you are not on the list. It will be held at Childrens Dallas doctors dining room –usual location.
I will attach the brochure for fingers to toes 2012 in another email; it’s too big to attach to this email. The course is geared toward primary care physicians/NP/PA. We had 140 attendees last year. Feel free to forward to anyone you think may be interested.
Finally after 2 years, we have secured a shock wave machine. So if you have any athletes/patients who have failed conservative RX in need of treatment for various tendonopathies/strains feel free to give them my contact info.
Thanks, have a good weekend.
