Hello All,
UTSW will be the medical provider for the Rock n Roll ½ marathon Sunday, March 25th. The race starts downtown at 8:00AM and finishes at Fair Park by 12:00 noon. 15,000 runners are expected.
We are looking for medical volunteers. Volunteers can be put to work along the course (there are 6 aid stations) providing ice/bandages/Vaseline/fluids/assessments as needed. There will be a “captain” of each station which will have between 4-8 volunteers; that person will oversee and assign responsibilities.
There will also be 2 aid stations at the finish line and a medical tent with 24 beds. Medical volunteers can also help there. Please have any interested volunteers contact Brennan Frugé at
brenna...@utsw.edu.
We’ll need title (PA, NP student, MD, etc.), specialty, mobile #, office/home #, email address, shirt size, and if you have previous experience. Thanks.
