Mi Familia is good. Just as an alternative, what about the Jazz
Cafe: http://fortworthology.com/2009/07/06/jazz-cafe/?
Be gentle with us. A first ride is better short and scenic. It's the
company that's the attraction.

PS: Is Reed/ChipSeal on this list? I know he makes it to TRE on
occasion. I've never met him in person, though I did meet Keri Caffrey.

I don't think you have to pay for metered parking spaces on weekends. If I'm wrong, the lot across the street from the train station is $4 for a full day. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'll check the Convention Center calender to see what's happening that day.Chipseal and Twister are on the list.

Let's leave helmets & Lycra to what people want to do. It's an
eclectic group. Anybody asks we can tell them "clothing is required -
we're not trying to start a nudist colony."
For Chandra, T&P is the westernmost stop on TRE. We could also get off
a stop earlier & still make it by 10.

Here are a few embarrassing attempts for a name using a "storytelling" theme...
Society of Civilized Cycling Adventure Exaggerators (SCCAE)Bicycling Authors, Bloggers, Bold-face Liers & Exaggerators (BABBLE)
Cycling and Tall-Tale Society (CATTS)
Association of Bicyclists & Modest Adventure Literary Society (ABMALS)
My chances of participation are improving, but still iffy. I'm assuming that if I don't make it, it will be well-documented.
Happy pedaling!
Chris
I think BABBLE is pretty good and not hearing something else
overwhelmingly cool, it appears there's a motion on the table, I'll
second it. Anyone opposed?
Where's Rantwick would be amusing from a post standpoint, however. All
photos could be "no, he's not here either."

To summarize: No, I don't Face-book.
BFOC just posted about the ride.
The 10 day weather forecast shows it to be sunny with a high
temperature of 66. Sounds perfect.

Wow, weather underground is predicting good weather on Friday and Saturday. I will have to apply sunscreen! Seventy degrees! Yippy Ki-yay!
If someone takes a shower with his clothes on, people think he's crazy. But if the guy showers naked, everyone can see he's nuts!
