Please consider yourself invited to the DFW Groovy - Grails UG meeting, Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Improving.
We meet for social time from 6:30-7:00pm where we have pizza and soft drinks. The meeting starts at 7pm and is always over by 9pm. See below for meeting details or visit our website, http://dfw2gug.org.

A Gentle Introduction to Gradle

Abstract
Gradle is a flexible and powerful build system that you have probably heard of but may have never really used; it can seem a bit unapproachable starting off. We will work through some Groovy-based examples of getting started with Gradle and how to hit the ground running and doing some real work.
Bio
Christopher J. Stehno is a Sr Engineer at NetScout in Plano, TX. He has been a Java developer and Web Developer for more than 16 years and a Groovy developer for six years. In his free time he enjoys hacking on his personal projects, exploring the DFW area with his wife, reading pulpy science fiction novels and hiking.

And please remember that Improving has moved to Plano. Improving is now located on the northwest corner of Legacy and Hedgecoxe. You can park in front of the building, on the Legacy side (south side of building). When you walk in the main door the Improving office is on the left.
