Lots of local bands. What are your favorites and what sort of music?
In no particular order
Pure Collins - Great Genesis/Phil Collins coverband
Metal Shop - Hair band rock - Gnr/Poison/Scorpions
Triple Threat - Mostly garage rock type with some classic. Green
Day/System of a down/STP/The Clash etc
Holy Stranger - Classic Rock - Deep Purple/Van Halen/Foreigner/Golden
Earring
Ashmore - British & southern rock - Tom Petty/Rolling Stones/Lynyrd
Skynyrd/Led Zeppelin
Sabine the Band- Rock & Roll, country blues - Eric Clapton/Johnny
Cash/Janis Joplin etc.
I did catch a R.E.M. coverband at The Maverick but I can't remember
their name now.
