Job Description :
Collates printed materials, manuals and software (CD's, 3.5" and 5.25"
media), and performs pre-assembly work as directed. Packages the above
material into boxes and padded mailers. Builds up all the different packaging to
stringent quality guidelines. Manually labels envelopes and boxes, with aesthetics
in mind. Stuffs letters into envelopes for mailing projects, may be required
to keep work area clean (sweeping, dusting, and possible mopping). Must be able
to follow verbal and written directions and read and understand English. The
ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the work day is required. May be required
to stand in one place for long periods of time on a concrete floor. Must be able
to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to quickly adapt to
different Assembly styles and methods is required. Must be able to keep a rapid
pace within all of the Manufacturing processes, without sacrificing quality.
The ability to use and operate a pallet jack is preferred. Familiarity with shipping
and receiving functions is preferred, along with how to set-up and operate
a copier.
