Fort Worth Gamers: gaming session 01/13/24

Saturday, 01/13/24 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hulen Mall food court, in southwest Fort Worth, TX
This was another of our regularly scheduled Saturday afternoon game sessions. We were supposed to have three players, but one (Aaron Swallow) was a no show.
So, the only game played was my Lost Cities. Luckily my opponent, Chris, had played it before (though a good while back). Even so, he played quite competently.
In round one we both started three expeditions. By round end Chris had made 25 points to my 43.
In round two Chris began four expeditions and made 40 more points. Meanwhile I made 46 points via three expeditions.
In the third and final round Chris garnered another 30 points via three expeditions, while I made 37; also with three expeditions.
Final scores: Michael W 126, Chris 95. Duration: 47 minutes.
When I began to reach for the next game box, Chris said he needed to go track down his wife, who was wandering around the mall somewhere.
So, in essence, instead of a three hour game session we only gamed one hour. To me, not really worth the drive to the mall.
