Saturday, 09/02/23 1:00 PM to 4:05 PM at the Hulen Mall food court, in southwest Fort Worth, TX
This was another of our regularly scheduled Saturday afternoon game sessions. We had three gamers today.
Our first game was my Tikal, which was new to Everett and Michelle C. Though they took to it like a duck to water. Alas I forgot to track our quarterly scores.
Our scores stayed fairly close until final scoring, when Michelle zoomed past Everett and I. Final scores: Michelle C 143, Everett 116, Michael W 106. Duration: 89 minutes. We all enjoyed the game.
Next up, my Imhotep, which was new to Everett. We played all “B” sides of the five shipping destinations. Michelle concentrated on the Burial Chamber, while Everett dominated the construction of obelisks. I put forth most of my effort on the three pyramids, and to a lesser extent, the Temple. I believe Everett made a good deal of points via the “purple” cards, as he had several.
Final scores: Everett 54, Michael W 50, Michelle C 44. Duration: 34 minutes.
