WEB SITE Creation: For Around $500 - here is what we have developed.

In 1996, I was the MIS Manager/Treasurer for a small manufacturer in Dallas.
We received a quote of $4,500 from a web designer for his "Gold Package".
After being worn down by web "consultants" who didn't know what a purchase
order was, we started to work internally on the project. What I developed
internally was the beginning of a corporation I would eventually launch
called Alpha Internet Presence, Inc (http://www.alphainternet.com - original
domain was alphaip.com). Although our business has grown and is moving
towords integrating ODBC databases with the Internet and corporate
Intranets, we still do reasonably priced Web Page Design and Hosting. For

Also, we will host www.yourname.com for $28 per month on PII 300Mhz servers
with 45mb/sec (DS-3) connectivity.

For larger sites, we do web database integration. You maintain the database
on your PC, and your web site builds itself dynamically from the database.
For Intranets, we can develop online expense reporting and project status
databases for a travelling or distributed work force.
