So, since it's been dead here, let's try another of these scintillating
question message threads.

What restaurant did you discover this year that you previously didn't know
about that was a positive surprise?

For me it was LUigi's, an Italian place in Denton at 380 and Bonnie Brae in
the Albertson's shopping center on the southwest corner. Reasonably priced,
and good quality with great service.

El Paisa at I-35E and Sandy Lake. DAMN fine tacos.

(I actually HAD known about it, since I'd been buying pizza by the
slice at the Brother's next door to it; just had never thought to
try it.)

Juanito's on south Hemphill not from from I20. Great flavor and
inexpensive. A fun place.

I LOVE this place. There is another at Harry Hines and loop 12 and I think
a 3rd around the same area but on Walnut maybe?

The Keg in Highland Village, South Arlington. Flawless, prompt, and
friendly service, a menu with plenty to choose from, and their steaks
are as good as anything you'd ever find in Kansas City. (They know how
to make a martini, also.)
