80% of the independently owned non-chain spots that opened in the
last year, and those that open in the next 2 years. That should
cover about 70% of the list.

Chipotle, I hope. Waste of good retail space.

It seems like they sort of started the giganto-burrito thing, at least here
in DFW. Doubtful they will go under, but their quality has been surpassed
by many - including Planet Burrito, Freebirds and El Taco H (my personal
favorite by a mile).

Those were well under way in California in the early 90's. And even
earlier.

I just 1) don't get the concept - burritos should be beef and/or
beans in a flour tortilla, covered with green chili and cheese,
with shredded lettuce and tomatoes on the side - and 2) don't care
for some flavor or spice or whatever that the Chipotle people use.
I can do Baja Fresh, no problem.

Chipotle's tacos and burritos are super bland. I've only had them
twice. I think *all* the 'grande' and mish-mash 9-ingredient
burrito places are bland. And their salsas suck as well. I don't
get it. The masses have no taste at all. It's just trendy is all.
And 2) You probably need to dump the regional burrito spiel.
