STEMINIST: Society of Women Engineers High School Camp
Saturday, November 18th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
UT Austin Campus, EERC Building
This free engineering day camp for high school students, hosted by the UT Austin Women in Engineering Program and Society of Women Engineers, explores what engineering is, different engineering majors, teamwork, creativity, and the "engineering design process." The camp will take place at UT Austin at the Engineering Research Center on November 18th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and lunch will be provided. Participants will be given a presentation on all engineering majors, have the choice to learn more in depth details of two majors, participate in teamwork activities, ask questions to a panel of students and alumni, and network with UT Austin students and corporate sponsors.
