Summer College Prep Camp for High School Students Interested in Health and Medicine

The Undergraduate Medical Academy at Prairie View A&M University is currently accepting applications for our 2024 Summer College Prep program taking place June 24-27. Applications are now open and will be accepted and reviewed until the deadline on May 24^th or until we have reached capacity (30 students). The program is designed for 10^th, 11^th, and 12^th grade students (15-18) with an interest in pursuing a career in health science or medicine. During the camp, participants will have the opportunity to learn from our highly qualified faculty and staff, talk to some of our alumni and current students, participate in games and activities, and take a day trip to visit Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. The cost of the program is $325 – this includes housing for 4-day (3-night) in the university dorms and all meals.
