The University of Texas at Austin's Choose Energy K-12 Outreach Program is excited to be the provider for Rock Solid: Teaching with Energy. This teacher professional development opportunity is sponsored by the AAPG-Southwest Section 2025 Convention in Fort Worth and is an Earth Science/Energy focused workshop for area K-12 STEM teachers. Teachers will also learn about STEM career opportunities in earth science and energy industries, and resources and activities are aligned to the 24-25 TEKS. The workshop's mission is to empower teachers to effectively teach earth science and energy concepts through standards-aligned content and professional development.
