Genesis10 has an immediate need for a Project Manager with one of our top clients in their Plano, TX location. This is a 8 month + contract position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package.
Please Note: Only W2 candidates will be considered for this opportunity.
Job Description:
• Demonstrates an understanding of customer’s tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions.
• Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.
• Actively manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan.
• Establishes basic scope control procedures.
• Develops documentation; monitors and reports project status; assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation.
• Initiates and maintains reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous efficient management of projects; gathers input and feedback.
• Analyzes and reports project status and research information; monitors project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables, and content.
• Effectively assists in directing both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines.
• Responds to operational issues and RFI’s within defined areas of responsibility while progressing on project work.
• Collaborates and communicates with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals or implementation.
• Assists in the development and implementation of contingency plans.
• Assist in the development of project budgets in compliance with the company’s financial practices.• Working on multiple projects in support of technical delivery of efforts;
• will attend/facilitate a lot of meetings with various teams on projects;
• manage financial resource allocation to meet goals;
• make sure others are billing what they say;
• a lot of collaboration with other teams;
• will work with technical teams and service delivery partners;
• will have financial responsibilities;
• making sure financials are updated and status are correct;
• will be tracking the project daily on all task involved;
• responsible for all technical delivery;
• manage all applications impacted.
Profile of a Perfect Candidate:• A solid bank background;
• strong hardware infrastructure background;
• demonstrated collaborative skills;
• proven project management experience with budgetary background;
• technical skills.Requirements:
• Strong project management experience – ability to manage multiple teams and projects - 7 – 10 years experience
• Experience managing projects involved in opening new sites (i.e. call center, infrastructure)
• Proven experience managing financial budgets
• Must have a technical background – ability to move, rack and stack servers
• Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp).To Apply:
