Kaga-grand slam lang ni Pabs Penalba noong round 8 ... pero namakyaw na naman siya noong Round 11 (2^nd session ng September 22^nd double header) ! When it rains, it really pours ... Hmm ... mukhang in very good shape si Pabs, kaya inspiradong-inspirado na naman ang mga kasama niya sa Edmond Ruz Design. Umakyat na sila sa 5 ^th position matapos nilang itlogin ang Al Jazeerah Bowling Centre (10-0), na dahil sa kaapihang inabot sa kanilang mga kamay ay dumausdos pansamantala from 7^th to 10^th place. Mukhang gising na rin sa pagkagupiling ang 1^st runner up team natin noong 1^st conference – NDO Extreme. Nayari nila ang Dubai Bowling Centre (8-3) at dahil sa kanilang madamdaming pagbo-bowling ay tinanghal silang Team of the Week.  Bahagyang bumaba sa 7^th spot ang tropa ni Elsie Marcial; di pa rin nakaahon sa 19^th place ang barangay ni Cherry Burayag.

 

Nangunguna pa rin ang Haris Al Afaq sa team standing after the 11^th round ng ginaganap na Western Union Cup 2^nd Conference 2006 ng Dubai Filipino Bowling Club, matapos nilang magwagi against Unbowlievables (7-4). Nasa pangalawang puwesto na ang Toyota na nanalo din against Jebel Ali Club (7-3). Umakyat din from 4^th to 3^rd place ang Dante's Peak na nagwagi naman against Eraser X (8-0). Nadisgrasya ang D'Falcon against Western Union (2-6) kaya nalaglag sila from 2^nd to 4^th position. Umangat naman from 9^th to 8^th spot ang team ng ating major sponsor.

 

Bagamat nanalo against Pin Masters (6-2) ay umatras pa rin from 5^th to 6^th place ang Electromec. Pumasok na sa top ten (at 9^th position) ang TFC FPC matapos nitong gulpihin ang NDO Extreme (9-1). Alin-aling teams pa ang nagpamalas ng mahuhusay na performances? Nakapagtala ng eleven points ang Sunpower-Gen Systems matapos nitong ilampaso ang sariling average ("bye" po sila). Umani din ng nine points ang DHL Mission: Possible (against Chivas Regal 12 Yrs Old, 9-0), EPCI GK 777 (against The Storm, 9-2) at Philcongen Equitable/ PCI Bank (against Port & Starboard, 9-1).

 

Sinu-sino naman ang may mga natatanging individual performances bukod sa bidang-bidang si Pabs Penalba ng Edmond Ruz Design? Hmm ... marami-rami nang naipong premyo si Pabs, pwede na siyang awitan na maging support sponsor.  Narito ang mga kapartner niya sa ladies division – bowler of the week: Ging Aring ng Toyota; high series scratch winner: Terry Bernardo ng Terry Boy Team; at high series handicap winner: Clarisse Corpuz ng TFC FPC. Walang nakadale ng Accumulator Prize.  Wala pa ring pagbabago sa mga holders ng conference records.
