Ifyou would like to try the makeup I use and LOVE but need help picking colors for your face, just upload a photo by clicking HERE!!! I will get back to you as soon as I can. It is usually within one or two days. I individually look at your face and choose colors based on that. Please send a well lit, clear, unfiltered selfie as shown below.
I will be sharing more photos of these on my Instagram and Facebook this week so you can see them all in action! Make sure you act quickly if there are things that catch your eye because they may run out. I hope you love these as much as I do!
You have heard me talk often about warmer weather and my love for it! It is a great time to try out some fun prints, or different fabrics. I love lace so when I saw this Hydrangea skirt, I fell in love. It is happy and amazing, just like summer ?
I have always loved shopping at Downeast so I am really excited to be bringing you a couple looks featuring this beautiful skirt from their new Special Occasions collection. I just love the intricate details of the skirt! I also love the length. Since I am nursing my baby, I wanted to bring you a couple options that were also nursing friendly!
For the first one, I chose to pair it with the City Center top for this more dressy look. The waistline is so flattering with a top tucked in, and the way the lace extends on the end makes it look so elegant! I am also loving the soft color on the top!
For the second, more casual look, I paired the Hydrangea skirt with the Garden Romp top. Tying it in front gives it a little more personality, as well as helping to create a more flattering shape. I will be wearing this top a lot this summer! Also, it is on sale whoop whoop!
The reason I love it so much is because of the colors and consistency. The IIID foundation applies so smoothly, and the colors are my favorite. I love the idea behind it that your foundation should work with the natural shadows of your face, rather than matting everything out, and then you have to try to add dimension back in.
Maskcara also has some great eyeshadow shades! I have been playing around with them and will be showing you more looks using them in the future. For this one I used Sabrina, Stardust, Finn, and Cole. To apply the shadow I used the eye shadow everything brush.
I threw on some boots to keep the snow out and of course a big chunky sweater. They help to break up my head to toe black spandex thing I usually rock around the house, and instead make me look more acceptable in public. Or so I like to think!
I chose to pair it with a simple black dress, but I have also worn it with some skinnies and boots. It is so versatile and the little step detail in the front adds some structure and interest to any look.
This top is not maternity, but I love how flowy it is. It is great for any body type! The best part is definitely the sleeves. I love how they flare! My daughter likes to borrow it and practice her twirls ?
I'm on a mission to love my neighbors. I put an ordinary picnic table in my front yard, painted it turquoise and invited neighbors, friends, and even strangers to hang out and do life together at the Turquoise Table.
Crafted like a personal album with the help of her granddaughters, Aerin and Jane, this book opens the door to the legendary woman who made her name known all over the world. As a true visionnaire, Este Lauder succeeded in building her cosmetics empire through talent, determination, hard work, and kindness, while still maintaining a rich and fulfilling family life. Adding to her iconic legacy was her eye for interiors, a reputation for hosting fabulous dinner parties, and her countless notable friends such as Princess Grace of Monaco, Hubert de Givenchy, Diana, Princess of Wales, Nancy Reagan, and Frank Sinatra, among other luminaries. To celebrate her life and important influence in business, at home, and on the town, Aerin and Jane Lauder along with Assouline, present an in-depth look at what a beloved tour de force Este was, as expressed through her personal letters, family photographs, company archives, and more.
Since 2019, Assouline has partnered with the non-profit organization One Tree Planted in their joint mission to create a more sustainable world. Through this partnership, Assouline plants one tree for every book sold. Once these trees reach maturity, Assouline aims to create a sustainable cycle by sourcing paper from the trees it has planted.
I know that sometimes, staying in & watching a movie is more tempting. But I also know that when we finally extricate ourselves from our nests, we feel so much better about ourselves, & life in general!
In surfing, as on dry land, death begets life begets death begets life. Surfers put themselves through this life cycle over and over again in the water, learning to embody resiliency along the way. We pull out of a wave, aware of the risk and the discomfort, and then we drop into the next one knowing full well that we may not make it because, well, what if we do? To really live often demands that we place ourselves in the most vulnerable position, be it close to the heart of a wave or close to the heart of another for a first kiss.

In March we lost our first pet (a cat named Bonnie). Then in May we adopted a second dog (Pepper), who ended up being attacked by our other dog. Then in October, we lost a second cat, one that was a very good friend to me (Pivot). It was at this time that I started writing this album. Then, we made the difficult decision to rehome our dog, which was extremely difficult for me because I very much loved this dog. I lamented to many of my friends about what a terrible year it had been - and then, my mom became extremely ill and passed away a week after rehoming our dog. Life had taught me one very grand lesson: Things can always get worse. There is no "I had a bad day, so the next day will be bright." Rainbows come at the end of storms, but so do tornadoes.
What you hear in this album is my grieving process... backwards. The most 'hopeful' tracks appear towards the end. Although I had lost both cats by this point, and was now struggling with the thought that I might have to rehome my dog, I was still unaware of how the year would finish.
Today, the release of this album, coincides with my mother's birthday. Her favorite color was purple. $(".tralbum-about").last().bcTruncate(TruncateProfile.get("tralbum_about"), "more", "less"); credits released May 10, 2024 license all rights reserved tags Tags electronic house ambient independent relaxation space music Minneapolis Shopping cart subtotal USD taxes calculated at checkout Check out about Midera Minneapolis, Minnesota
When I first became a mom, I remember taking a walk with my newborn, Aidan, in his baby carrier. It was October just after a long rain. I walked up through the lanes in the neighborhood near our apartment. I noticed the smoky smell of wet earth, the oak trees and crunchy fallen leaves on my path. I noticed a tiny flower fading against pine needles, autumn settling in and winter on its way.
And as he grew, Aidan began to notice oh so many things! He contemplated. He wondered. And with him and his 3 siblings who followed, I began to cultivate a life of wonder and contemplation with them, really because of them. Children are awestruck by the ordinary as they encounter the world anew. If we follow their lead, we will remember what we too once knew: life is beautiful.
Why do we live such crammed, shrunken lives? We have lost a taste for the beautiful. Not only for beautiful paintings, beautiful music, and beautiful landscapes, but for the beautiful mind and the beautiful act.
So, today, let yourself waste time with your children. Notice with them. Wonder with them. Notice them, and wonder at them, these extraordinary, unique blessings! When we practice living a contemplative kind of life with our children, we learn more about our children, ourselves, and God.
