We’ve updated the Dropbox badge! Now when you’re on your computer and you open a Microsoft Office file from a Dropbox shared folder, we let you know if someone else in the folder opens the same file on their computer — so you can coordinate with them before making any changes.
The badge will also tell you if the other person has unsaved changes, so you know to hold off on making and saving any edits until they’re done.
And when the other person saves their changes, the badge will let you know — with an option to reload the document to the most up-to-date version, right from inside the file.
