Dear members,

 

We would like to inform you that KPMG is working as a PMU for Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) and Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation (MDWS) is the nodal ministry for the implementation of SBM(G). MDWS is organizing Swachhathon 1.0 – Swachh Bharat Hackathon as SBM(G) completes three years since its inception. The main objective of the event is to crowd source solutions to some of the pressing issues faced during the implementation of SBM.

 

The entire event will be held in three phases.

 

Round 1 Screening round: will invite online entries from the participants on mygov portal. (Last date for the entry is 25th August 2017)

Round 2 Demonstration:  will see participants demonstrate their solutions live.

Round 3 Final round:  finals are to be held on 8th September, 2017 where the winners will be announced after submission of presentations by them.

 

KPMG is the knowledge partner for the theme Innovative solutions for early decomposition of faecal matter. Please find attached the slide which mentions about the type of solution which government is looking for. The Ministry is looking for solutions which are innovative, cost-effective, sustainable, reliable, durable, user friendly, environmental friendly and which can be scalable.

You can also see the details about the eligibility criteria, structure of the program, important dates, application procedures, selection criteria, general guideline & terms and conditions etc in the attached manifesto and link given above.
