The installer story is a bit rough. It is a pure Java thing and a
shell script is provided for those who are running under linux. For
use under windows, a simlpe .bat program can be provided.

Please which OS are you running and I will try to provide approriate
instructions.

I don't really support windows per-se, but here is a batch file I use
to run it on windows. I have renamed so that gmail will allow me to
send it. You will have to rename it back to dexter.bat.

You should store dexter.jar and gnu-getopts.jar in the location of
your choice and then edit the batch file so that it is pointing to the
correct locations. It's a very small batch file.

The batch file itself will need to be somewhere on your path.

To check if it is installed correctly, you should be able to run

dexter.bat --help

and see a list of all the options.
