it looks like something to do with your environment variables
can you tell me where you unzipped dexen and also send a screen shot of RapidEE showing your environment variables

patrick,
i have installed dexen on my G drive. I have three drives is my laptop. C drive is generally where programs are installed. D drive is the recovery drive and G drive is the place where i store my data.I have attached the screen shots of environment variables as two jpeg files, the first one shwing HFS and path , and the second jpeg shwing the pythonpath.

I have found the error - it was not you, it was me :)
it is in the startup bat files
please edit them as follows:
  1. open notepad
  2. open the file dexen-hou-0.3.3.5/bin/dexen-server.bat
  3. on the second line, replace  "d:" with: "%~d0"
Do the same for the other two bat files: dexen-node.bat and dexen-cli.bat

This will be fixed in the next version, coming soon...
