Hi patrick,

as my climatic house model is able to change its floorplan, i would
require a method to automatically adjust the analysis grid that we use
in radiance node to suit the changes in building geometry.

Right now as the file format that we are using requires the breakdown
into two files, one for the developmental model and then written to a
Bgeo.file. It is then read by another evaluation model via the
Bgeo.file.

How do i actually achieve the creation of a analysis grid that changes
according to the building plan ?

Right now, what i have tried but fail, is to group the floorplate of
the development model under one group.
When i open the evaluation file, i delete all the polygons except for
the floorplate which i grouped, and i used the divide node to recreate
the analysis grid from that polygon,

i have ensured that the surface normal and the point normals are
correctly pointed upwards to the ceiling, and looked like a grid.
However, it was found to be working uncorrectly with the illuminance
and irradiance uniform thoughout....

How should i go about solving this problem?

The easiest way is to make the analysis grid in the development step (i.e. in dev.hipnc). That way you can use the genes to change its size.

For eval_lux, you can use the grid in the bgeo. For the other evals, you can just ignore the grid.

I have had a look at your radiance file. The problem with your file is that:
1) Your room is lying on its side.
2) You are using folders with spaces

Your folder name is "test of house in radiance" - this will not work with Radiance. In general, never put spaces in folder names- it causes all sorts of problems. It may also cause problems with energyplus.

I have attached the hip file.
