Advice on dex assemblers/disassemblers

Hi,

I've run into the following issue:

As noted by Bob, a possible fix is modifying the dex by hand. However,
I'm not sure how to do this, since it's a binary file. I found ddx to
disassemble it, but I couldn't find an assembler. Can you recommend one?

The tool smali https://github.com/JesusFreke/smali is very good at editing dex files. you should give it a try.
