dex2jar problems

I want to get source code from apk file so :

1_ I change file.apk to file.zip

2_ I download dex2jar and i extract it in the same folder of apk file 

3_ I copied classes.dex to dex2jar folder

but when i run d2j-dex2jar classes.dex or dex2jar classes.dex i got this exception 

'd2j-dex2jar' is not recongnized as an internal or external command

Can you help me please?

What version of dex2jar are you using, on what Operation System ?

Please follow the UerGuide here http://sourceforge.net/p/dex2jar/wiki/UserGuide/

and try again.

on dex2jar 2.0, and windows the command should be 

d2j-dex2jar.bat classes.dex

the following step should solve you problem

1. click Start->Run, and enter cmd, and press Enter

2. input cd c:\the\location\of\dex2jar, and press Enter

3. input d2j-dex2jar.bat classes.dex, and press Enter

if the command still failed, i need the following information:

1. where is dex2jar-2.0.zip extract to

2. have you install java and what version is it.

3. please attach the screen shot if possible
