Ability to hide item description on Dashboard within Mashup

In the ToDo widget on the dashboard would love to be able to hide the
description - just need the name to trigger the memory thanks.

I looked into the mash up – the challenge is that the dashboard
widgets do not have any sort of ID on the HTML elements making it
difficult to do the find. Is there any chance of getting IDs tagged
onto each dashboard widget and perhaps even the row/column names on
the table tags (given that each user can customize their columns)?

Mashup that allow to hide\show description on ToDo list is attached.

You can have a look on the attached mashup to see how it's possible to find needed dashboard widget. Probably it's not the most beautiful way, but it works.
