Hi,

Thanks for trying the software.  I have not used Spyder or the PYTHONPATH manager.  Please try replacing the backslashes ("\") with forward slashes ("/") in the PYTHONPATH manager.

Also, please make sure these conda packages are installed:
numpy mkl

Regards,

Juan

Hi, I've looked at the other threads regarding installation but I'm still having some issues. When I try to run an example program such as bioapp1_2d.py or diode_1d.py it appears that the module is not correctly loading. I'm using spyder from anaconda. As simply as possible this is what I've done:
  1. Downloaded the latest binary release
  2. Extracted the download devsim_win64_v1.4.11 and put it in my documents
  3. Installed the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable as outlined in the windows.txt file
  4. Set pythonpath to the extracted folder/lib - see first image
  5. Tried to run an example program such as diode_1d.py - second image

Perhaps I'm missing something very obvious? This is my first time trying to use a python package without using pip or something very simple. Thanks for any help!
