unable to visualise simulation

can anyone guide me to the correct way of running any example : currently I am following this way: 

on anaconda prompt i write

cd C:\devsim-main\examples\diode

python diode_2d.py

then scripts run show result on command prompt but I don't get any simulation visual, i have installed visIt though, i have tried running gmsh file like this too but nothing happened,

when I try directly opening any visIt python file it shows me error no module name devsim  as shown in picture below.

Hello,

Please try:
gmsh_diode2d.py

and loading the resulting file:
gmsh_diode2d.dat

in VisIt, using the Tecplot format option.

You should be able to create a plot of the mesh and do pseudocolor plots
of the simulation variables.
