SharePoint Architect

Capabilities/Expertise Required:

· Develop Enterprise Architecture for a Service Provider:
providing SharePoint services in a multi-tenant environment supporting
multiple types of consumers

· Architect SharePoint infrastructure for:

o optimal performance, availability, and disaster recovery (Storage,
Servers, Networks)

o Authentication and Authorization in a shared multi-tenancy
environment

o Architecture & Implementation of a robust Search capability within
SharePoint (e.g., FAST, Google appliance, etc.)

o SharePoint Integration with other content to include websites,
Wiki, Blogs, & other custom transaction applications.

· Will develop multiple advanced custom solutions for
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/10 (MOSS)

· Advance knowledge, with skill and ability using the
SharePoint Object Model, .NET Framework, C#.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET,
ASP.NET, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, T-SQL, Visual Studio, Microsoft Visio,
Microsoft Project, to develop workflows, web features, web parts, web
services, Business Data Catalog definitions, custom site definitions,
advanced customizations and complete custom solutions for MOSS and WSS

· Prepare technical specifications, design documentation, code
walk-through, test plans, and documentation of completed code.

· Individual should be a fast learner of new technologies, be
a creative thinker, share skills and information freely.


Position Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical
discipline

· Understanding of OO programming Concepts, MVC, software
design patterns.

· 4+ years experience using the SharePoint Object Model, .NET
Framework, C#.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, XSLT,
JavaScript, AJAX, SOAP and T-SQL

· 2+ years experience using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
2007 (MOSS) and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS)

· 2+ years experience developing features, web parts,
workflows, web services, Business Data Catalog definitions, advanced
customizations and complete custom solutions for MOSS and WSS.

· Proficient in the .​Net framework, C#, ASP.​NET using Visual
Studio and SharePoint Designer

· Hands on experience with the Personalization components of
MOSS

· Hands on experience with BDC, Excel Services, Forms
Services, Performance Point Services, KPI, and/or InfoPath

· Strong experience packaging and deploying SharePoint
solutions.

· 5+ years experience performing as a project team lead tasks
& full software lifecycle experience.

· Must be creative and flexible in order to respond quickly
and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; ability to work
under tight deadlines and handle multiple, detailed tasks.

· Mandatory – US Citizenship, Security Clearance is a Plus


Desired Qualifications:

· SharePoint 2007 or Windows SharePoint Services Development
certification

· MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer) is a strong
plus

· BS/Master's degree in computer science or related technical
discipline.
