I'm Mariana Sigstad, not a reserch specialist but working in autism
remediation. I am convinced that pragmatic development in this
population is a key step in language acquisition. My son was my first
client, with no nowadays methodologies, just my knowledge in
linguistics and context, and he said his first words just by learing
how society works: rutines, few traditions, norms. Wasn't that part of
teaching pragmatics?
