We are pleased to bring to your kind notice that Akshaya Patra Foundation began feeding underprivileged children in government schools in Vrindavan, Mathura District in the year 2003. Today we are feeding 1.65 lakh children in about 1500 schools covering almost all the schools of Mathura District.
We are also very pleased to inform you, that we have made significant progress in our ambitious project of building a grand, iconic and monumental temple of Sri Radha Krishna in Vrindavan, Dist Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
Sri Vrindavan Dham is very dear to Lord Sri Krishna and His devotees. In fact, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has himself extolled Vrindavan: “ärädhyo bhagavän vrajeça-tanaya tad-dhäma våndävanaà.”
The Grand Temple Complex will reach out to the sky, rising to 700 feet high. And will have a footprint of four acres. Please go through the attached e-Brochure.
We are planning for the Bhumi Puja (Shila Nyas) for this project on March 16th, 2014 at our campus in Vrindavan. Please find the attached e-brochure of the conceived temple project.
