DevOpsDays in RTP?

We're thinking about setting up a DevOpsDays here in the Research Triangle in North Carolina. A few people from Red Hat and IBM are willing to co-organize, and we're also looking for more volunteers and co-organizers.  If I have enough info by next week, we can put out a call for volunteers next week, when I speak at the Triangle DevOps Meetup.

So... would anyone else on this list like to help?

Also, we're new to this.  Is there any sort of checklist or resource list to help us get started?
