Hi,

After our successful last meetup the next one will be on Wednesday, 02.04.2014, at

    Stylight Headquarters
    Nymphenburger Str. 86
    80636 München

The meetup will start at 18:30. Drinks and Pizza will be provided by Stylight.

Details about the meetup can be found on the event page[1] at Meetup.com.

Like last time we are still looking for talks to be presented at the meetup.
So if you have the time to do a talk or just want to tell us about some cool new
stuff you found, please respond to this email to the list and tell us about it or
ping the organizers. Lightning talks (5-10 min) are also very welcome!

Please distribute this mail to your local peers who might be interested
and ask them to come and join this mailing list and/or our Meetup.com
group[2]!

Regards
Tristan

Hi DevOps Munich Member,

Florian Motlik had to cancel his talk, so we're looking for a new talk
for next Tuesday.

We also would like to collect more ideas for future meetups.

So, if you currently doing "this next great thing" and want to
demonstrate it to an audience. Or maybe you always wanted to know why
Ansible might be cooler than chef&puppet (At least I would still like to
hear a talk about ansible, maybe _you_ can give it?).You have docker
running on production already? Tell us your experience!

You can also propose topics for discussions (e.g. we already had a
discussion about "If you have a DevOps Team, you're doing it wrong")

See you soon!

Cheers,
Jochen (on behalf of the DevOps Munich organizers)

Hi,

I could tell a little about Ansible. I'm just not sure if I'm the right person to give it.
There are a few important areas I didn't delve into.
If it'd be OK for you if I flag where I only know the theory vs. where I've done deeper dives?
What I can offer is a pretty neutral view - I'm a very early user of ansible, but *out* of the hype.

So where I talk about disadvantages it comes from long use or knee-jerking it, where I talk about the cool points, it'll be those I really care about.

Also, disclaimer, it would be my first time to the meetup. So far I spent a year of missing the dates.

Greetings,
Florian
