Plans for the next meetup

Heya,

any ideas for the next meetup? Shall we just meet over beers again

or is anyone interested in doing a talk (or something similar)? When

should it be?

We also need a location. If we want to have a talk we could do this

at Mayflower (with pizza, beer & a beamer ;), which is located near

Isartor (Mannhardtstr. 6 to be specific). We could also go to the

Muffathalle beer garden after the talk.

Any thoughts on this?

Hi,

how about a regular monthly meeting date, e.g. the first Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in a month ?
The location can be then chosen flexible depending on weather and agenda (just beer or
some presentations/talks ;)

If somebody is interesting I can do a quick presentation of "cobbler" (http://cobbler.github.com) as Linux
provisioning system and external node qualifier for puppet.

I suggest a doodle for the next meeting, where we should discuss
regularity. Personally, I'd love to see some pre-arranged topic to give
the evening a direction, like a talk or fishbowl session.

A pet peeve of mine is testing, so I could give an overview of different
approaches, their motivation in development. Afterwards we could
discuss their applicability for infrastructure work, e.g. in a fishbowl
session.

Sounds like the perfect combo to me. :)

I'm with the others here: sounds like a perfect fit. :)

It'd also be great to hear Nikolay's talk about (infra) testing since he
seems to be quite into that topic.

As for the date I think we should first see how many people will come to
the next meeting (BTW, is there already a doodle for that?) and how many
would like to have a regular date.

Could one of you Mayflower guys setup the Doodle? If you give me a date
range, I could do so as well. Let's get this started! :)
