Dear all,
The message was also in my spam. This Saturday I likely won’t be able to attend. The 18th should be better.
Best,
Maria

Morning Ann
I'm not aware of our Google Group modifying how it sends out email. I ran the issue through AI to see what could be the cause for folks not receiving Susan's email into their inboxes, while others did (output below). For me (personal & business) I tend to check my spam folder periodically to make sure i'm not missing valuable messages. Sometimes an email from a trusted source may have strange characters in the body or subject line, setting off my spam filter in error.
Hope this helps
AI Output:
Content triggers
A message in the group may have included wording, links, or attachments that tripped spam filters.
Repeated “marketing-like” language or multiple hyperlinks can raise the score.
If enough recipients marked past Google Group emails as “spam” instead of unsubscribing, mail providers may downgrade trust.
Low open/click rates over time can also impact deliverability.
Recipient mailbox/provider filtering changes
Gmail, Outlook, and others regularly tweak spam detection algorithms. Even if nothing changed on your side, they may have tightened rules.
Sometimes filters “learn” from one user moving a message to spam, and apply it to others.
👉 What you can do:
Mark messages as “Not Spam” to retrain filters.
If needed, whitelist the group’s address in your inbox
